Mei Zen Skin Care: Cleansing Your Skin

Posted by

So many products and so many directions. We receive many inquiries on what is the proper way to wash your face, what products to use when and how often?  Even if you are not wearing makeup, it is important to cleanse your face every night. Each day, the skin encounters debris, grime and environmental aggressors that can cause breakouts, accelerated aging and irritation of the skin. At Mei Zen Skin Care, we recommend the below:*

1) Start by removing your eye make up The eye area is very sensitive. We recommend using a make up remover that is hypo-allergenic, artificial color and phthalate free.  Be careful not to get it in your eyes.

OPTIONAL: If you are prone to blemishes or breakouts, apply Mei Zen Skin Care Astragalus and Geranium Skin Prep. Formulated with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, this leave-on toner helps clear and prevent future flare-ups and leaves the skin clean and fresh.  Learn more...

2) WASH: Cleanse your face and neck. Mei Zen Skin Care Kissed by Bees Cleanser is an effective yet gentle, make-your-skin-feel-great antibacterial and antimicrobial cleanser. It can be used morning and night for general skin health or for acne prevention. Learn more...
