Are you familiar with beauty tools? Not a tweezer or makeup brush, not a hair brush or Botox needle but ancient beauty tools that are still relevant today and promote inner and outer beauty. Let's open the door to the beauty of these tools.

Beauty tools have been used in Chinese medicine for centuries.Used to enhance both inner and outer beauty, tools such as the Heart-shaped Gua Sha Tool and Rose Quartz Facial Roller aid in more radiant skin, promoting circulation, improving elasticity of the skin, easing facial muscle tension, and more.

The Rose Quartz Facial Roller helps improve lymphatic drainage and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and puffiness in the facial area. The roller is very calming and metaphysically, rose quartz is the stone of love, relating the the heart chakra. It is also used to:

  • Improve elasticity of the skin
  • Reduce appearance of puffiness and fine lines
  • Ease facial muscle tension
  • Help products absorb better

The Gua Sha Tool is used to help alleviate painful areas by identifying acupuncture points and what are called "ashi" (or painful) points. The tool is used to "scrape" or stroke the area of concern. In beauty, the Gua Sha Tool is used to:

  • Help skin look more radiant
  • Promote circulation and natural drainage of the lymph nodes
  • Help release muscle tension
  • Aid in headache relief

While these treatments are often done by a professional, you can help promote your treatment results by doing them at home. Mei Zen Skin Care has launched two kits that each include these tried and true beauty tools. Open your door and learn more:
